Vemula Groups served as main contractor for landscape and public-realm works at Terminal 2, and as specialist subcontractor executing the Patrick Blanc ‘Tiger Wings’ vertical garden system on the terminal facade.
The brief called for terraced seating areas to reduce crowding at peak hours, native and drought-tolerant planting to minimise irrigation needs, and an LED lighting scheme for wayfinding and safety after dark.
Misted planters create small microclimates around the seating zones, and all paving was specified for monsoon resilience given Bengaluru's seasonal rainfall.
